Assembly is a chance for the entire school to gather twice a week to be together as a community to discuss in-school changes or issues affecting our entire school, as well as time for students to make announcements about clubs, services or committees.

Advisory blocks are a chance for students to meet in advisory groups (usually 6 students to 1 teacher) to get help and advice. Advisors are teachers available to students for academic and nonacademic support.

Block 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are for academic or art classes.

Lunch is an hour long and students are welcome to have affinity groups or student interest clubs or school committees with elected positions.

School Service blocks are designed to get students involved with their school facilities. These blocks range from giving tours for our Admissions to cleaning up department classrooms at the end of the day, to helping in our community garden.

Extra blocks are for athletics or arts, tutoring, or other extracurricular activities. With a faculty advisor, students can easily create their own blocks to explore their interests.

Fridays are an optional short day. Usually "extra" blocks will state whether or not they will meet on Friday. Most athletics meet five days a week whereas an extra block such as a writing tutoring may meet only Monday through Thursday.

Weekends are full of extra activities planned each week for our students, boarding and day, to participate in.

We are a four year high school. Each year consists of four, eight week semesters.
